About Lauren

Lauren Hallden has worked on user experience design, web design, and data visualization for software companies like Magento and RJMetrics. She was the Lead Product Designer at Stitch, where she managed UX and UI for a fast-growing tech startup, through its acquisition. Previously, she ran communications for a public health organization at the University of Pennsylvania. She’s also worked in marketing and development for a few nonprofits.

Lauren has a BFA from the Moore College of Art & Design, and a graduate certificate in Emerging Design and Research from the University of Pennsylvania. She won a Best of Philly award for her work on Philly Day Hiker, and the Washington Post once described one of her projects as "one of those rare instances when computer code and social media racket coalesce into something like magic."

When she’s not building websites, Lauren’s probably off exploring the woods, or venturing out on the Delaware River with her foldable kayak (it’s a thing!). She also enjoys building furniture and other stuff for her 1920s rowhome in Philadelphia.
